About John Woods

I got my driver’s license at 16, like most teenagers do.  Then I listened to my insurance agent dad and earned my second license, an insurance license.  That was the one I wanted no part of, because I was going to work in the music industry.  Clearly, things hit a sour note on my career path.

So, I go to work in the family business, and I quickly found out that I didn’t like property & casualty insurance like the rest of the family, but I did love the life & health side of the business.

I wrote my first Medicare supplemental policy almost 30 years ago, today I lead a team that has educated and enrolled more than 2000 individuals into Medicare plans throughout the Mahoning Valley.

I guess my father was right, because I love what I do – and I’m good at it!

About Frank Jarome

When I was a kid, I didn’t even know what insurance was.  All I knew was that whenever the insurance man came around my grandparents, he walked out with a check.  I was more interested in technology, so I was in the other room messing around with whatever the new gizmo was.

In 1998, I enrolled at Youngstown State University convinced I was going to work in IT.  Little did I know that most of that work was going to get sent overseas.  With newfound student loan debt, I found myself working retail to pay the bills.  I kept an occasional side gig with a local insurance office for some tech work, that way I felt like I was using my degree a little.

After my first child was born, I needed a change.

I considered going into teaching, then I tripped and fell into health insurance.  These days, ten years later, I work with people eligible for Medicare who want to know about their options so that they have better information, get the right coverage, and feel comfortable with their decision.

I’m not eligible for Medicare myself for a while still, but I can help those people who are.
