I graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in IT, which probably makes you wonder how I ended up in health insurance.  Well, my wife didn’t want to move out of the area, which made finding a decent tech job difficult.  So, when I was asked the now-famous question, “Do you want to get licensed for health insurance?  I’ll pay for it,” I said yes.  And here we are.

Education has always been important to me, so I take a very education-based approach to health insurance.  This means that the initial focus is on educating people about the basics of health insurance or Medicare, along with the different types of plan options, before we even start talking about plans or premiums.  Without a strong foundational base of knowledge, how can you hope to make a well-informed decision?

I am also a Registered Social Security Analyst, which allows me to provide personalized analyses and strategies for optimizing Social Security benefits to individuals who are nearing retirement.
